Catchin' up is hard to do!! The last two months have been
quite hectic. Easter Sunday this year was one to remember...
We awakened to a gorgeous sunrise and a beautiful acapella rendition of 'Were You There' by a choir in Hope, KY. That surely gave us the strength we needed for the next few weeks as we had lots of travel related issues and had the RV in the shop most of that time. We even had to make some trips to concerts in the car!
We also had lots of special trips this Spring...Tupelo, MS; Mansfield, OH; Parkersburg, WV; Hawkinsville, GA; Jeffersonville & Muncie, IN; then on to Branson, MO with a very warm reception there. On our way back from Branson, we drove through downtown Nashville, TN just days after record floods had washed through that area. We were very blessed to have just missed the storm, and still send prayers for all those who were affected by the incredible devastation we witnessed on our return home.
The Reunion Concerts have kicked off and there is a lot of excitement in the air. Not sure who is more excited...the 'Boys' or the fans...that has been a long time coming. Recently we had a minor setback when Eddie had a heart attack followed by surgery for 3 bypasses. He is doing well and already is planning when he can be back on the road! Some other dear, lifelong friends are also struggling with health related issues right now; please remember them all in your prayers.
As busy as we've been, Archie has still found time to plant his garden, and we have been able to go to a few of Reagan's softball games! School is almost out and we hope to have her on the road with us quite a bit this summer! We will be making one family trip to south Florida in July as our youngest daughter Amy will be getting married there on July 23. So, life continues to be full and busy! Please keep us in your continued prayers, and we hope to see you soon!

Summer has been great so far! I am busy swimming a lot and traveling and camping with Grandmama and Granddaddy. I am really enjoying myself and looking forward to whatever adventures come my way this summer! It's hard to believe that I will be going into the 5th grade this fall at school. Can't wait to eat lots of fresh veggies out of Granddaddy's garden, and I love juicy watermelon, too!! Hope you all have a great summer, and I may see you on the road!!
