Notes from Cindy

New, in from Cindy, March 3, 2010...

Well, it has certainly been an interesting winter here in NC!
We have had more snow and cold temperatures than in the
last 20 or so years!  It has made for some real adventures where travel is concerned, but Archie and I have managed to stay busy on the road.

In January, I had a special birthday, and spent it with some of my family in Florida.  We had a wonderful time, even though the cold weather tried to follow us down there!  A few of the pictures from our time together are below.

My mom, Lucille, will be 83 at the end of this month.  She continues to have struggles and issues with her health, so please keep her in your prayers.  She fell a few weeks ago and broke her right hip, so she is still in recovery from that accident and surgery.

We continue to try and thaw out and wish for spring.  I will write more again soon and have some more pictures to share!!

Reagan's Riff-Raffs

What a winter it has been!!  It looks like school will never get out for summer break, but we are going some on Saturdays to try and make up some of our snow days.  I am ready for sun, hot days, and playing in the water!!!

Mom just had a birthday, and I baked her a cake all by myself this year.  She loved it!  Maybe I will end up being as good of a cook as Grandmama one day!  I love helping her and learning in the kitchen...
